This month we had the opportunity to go to Nanning, a beautiful place called the "green city," for the The 5th Annual All China Special Education and Therapy Conference. Teacher Wang, Laura, and Carrie attended the "Physical Therapy for Children with Cerebral Palsy" and Head Nanny, Zhang Ayi attended the "How to Build an Effective Special Education Team." The conference was held by Angle House in Nanning and the Physical Therapy course was presented by teacher Jin Rong and teacher Hu Han from Taiwan. The first two days were lectures on the theory and knowledge of physical evaluation techniques and the last two days were hands-on practice of those techniques with children from Angel House that had cerebral palsy. We were so grateful for the opportunity to learn from these wonderful teachers and make connections with other organizations all over China.
